About Me

 About Me

Hi there! I’m Charla Miller, a third-year (Junior) college student at the University of Arizona Global Campus, where I’m pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

I didn’t graduate college in my 20s, life happened. So, here I am at 44 back in college. I love computers, and that is what brought me back to school. This blog started as part of a class assignment — but it is quickly becoming something more. I realized it could be a space where I not only complete coursework but also share my journey through the world of technology. From learning new programming languages to exploring cybersecurity, data analysis, cloud computing, online college and everything in between, I’m excited to document it all here.

Why This Blog?

As an online student, I’ve learned how important it is to stay connected and engaged. This blog is my way of doing just that — connecting with others who are passionate about tech, learning in public, and building a digital footprint that reflects my growth.

Whether you're a fellow student, a tech enthusiast, or just curious about what it’s like to study IT online, I hope you’ll find something here that inspires or informs you.

 What to Expect

  • Tech Tips & Tutorials from a student’s perspective
  • Reflections on Learning and navigating online education
  • Personal Project A peek into what I’m building, breaking, and learning and creating, and hands-on experiences.
  • Resources & Tools I’ve found helpful along the way.
